and one year on it is in full song

Herbs and fruit in the city – let’s make Bristol genuinely green!

Urban Eden Designs is a Bristol gardening company with care for the client and the environment at its heart.

Run by Diane Holness (BAhons Fine Art, PGdip Landscape architecture),  and specialising in productive and beautiful gardens that combine growing your own with a lovely environment for you and nature.  I offer a broad range of garden maintenance services and design for small gardens, borders and creating or adapting gardens to produce food and wildlife habitats.

Design:  If  you just need ideas I offer a cheap consultation service which is an on site discussion of how you can  meet your needs and the different possibilities. The aim being to help you clarify what you want and  what is possible, and give you some notes and ideas on paper.

If you need more input, that can follow on from a consultation or call me and we can talk through how much you need doing and I will quote accordingly.

Garden maintenance and general gardening – weeding, pruning, planting , hedge trimming etc. Also putting up trellis, building wood raised beds, supports for trained trees, mending sheds, installing waterbutts – all the small scale jobs you haven’t got round to. My limitations are in physical strength, I have the tools and know-how to take on most basic woodwork and repair jobs in a garden.

‘Dressing‘: a garden before a house sale to maximise its appeal, just as you would de-clutter and decorate your home.

Talks and workshops:  for groups and clubs on a number of gardening topics.

Instructing groups of children or adults in how to garden – especially how to ‘grow your own’ .  Gardening in Schools.

Contact Diane on 07730 557 657 or fill in the form below and we’ll get back to you.

I accept Bristol Pounds for full or part payment.

  1. Hello Diane, I saw your article/ad in The Pigeon, what a fabulous business. I hope it is very successful for you. Fresher air than in your way old job too. Big hug, Kerry of old Aardman days. X
