Herbs and fruit in the city – let’s make Bristol genuinely green!

Urban Eden Designs is a Bristol garden design company with care for the client and the environment at its heart.

Run by garden designer Diane Holness (BAhons Fine Art, PGdip Landscape architecture),  we offer garden design and organic gardening – specialising in productive and beautiful gardens that combine growing your own with a lovely environment for you and nature.

If  you just need ideas: Consultation, a discussion of your needs and the possibilities to help you clarify what you want and  what is possible.

Garden design from basic sketch layout to a fully worked scheme including planting plans and construction details.

Written specification to put out to tender to landscape contractors.

Garden artwork made, commissioned  or sourced for you,

Also garden maintenance and general gardening – weeding, pruning, planting  etc.

‘Dressing‘ a garden before a house sale to maximise its appeal, just as you would de-clutter and decorate your home.

Talks for groups and clubs on a number of gardening topics see Talks and workshops.

Instructing groups of children or adults in how to garden – especially how to ‘grow your own’ .  I have a DBS (previously a CRB) enhanced certificate acquired for my work as a gardening instructor in a Bristol School.  This permits me to work with children and vulnerable adults.  See page on Gardening in Schools.

  1. Hello Diane, I saw your article/ad in The Pigeon, what a fabulous business. I hope it is very successful for you. Fresher air than in your way old job too. Big hug, Kerry of old Aardman days. X
